Senior Buyer (Shenzhen Plant)

Job description

  • Work closely with end users or designers on local and overseas sourcing
  • Support component purchases in electrical and others, source and negotiate price with both China and overseas suppliers
  • Formulate purchase strategy on electrical commodity
  • Manage supplier relationship and work closely with strategic suppliers on Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
  • Drive cost reduction projects to meet management’s KPI
  • Provide support to China/HK Plants

Job requirements

  • Degree or above in Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations Management / Statistics or relevant disciplines
  • 5 - 7 year’s working experience in purchasing is a must
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude, able to work under pressure; a proactive person
  • Good communication skills with all levels of management / team
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin is highly preferred)
  • Station in Shenzhen plant (Company coach will be provided)
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Buyer
